Conversatiom 1 (280A) is a course to participants with some knowledge of the English Language. Therefore; this course is designed to make students improve their fluency and basic communicative skills, conjugating semantics, pragmatics, phonology, and syntax in varied and lessons about updated topics.

This course is designed to students who are in the third level of the English school. The listening skill is developed through individual and group presentations followed by discussion about the themes presented in order to promote communication. This interaction gives the students the opportunity to practice hard sounds, intonation, grammatical structures, and above all, to correct false cognates adopted from the Spanish language
This course is designed to students who are in the fourth year . At the end of this course the students will be familiar with the history ,and authors of the american literature. This will make the students enjoy while they are reading, so they will take advantage not only of the new vacbulary, but also of the information provided.
